READING:

• read Dr. Seuss page 99-112
• essential question: how do words and pictures help tell a story?
• vocabulary: read, pictures, draw, was, after.     Keep in mind to practice these words at home. Make sure your child comprehend the use of this words in the story because we will use them in class into context.
• develope comprehension- oral communication
• tell a rhyme: the student has to learn a short rhyme at home for monday 2nd. I will give you some options below and you can choose only one. you can choose another one from anywhere. STUDENT HAS TO LEARN IT FOR MONDAY.

MATH:

• vocabulary: mineral, boulders

A boulder is a rock with a huge size. While a boulder may be small enough to move or roll it, others are extremely massive or impossible. In common usage a boulder is too large for a person to move. A small boulder are called rocks.
